With three offices in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, Florida, Premier Women’s Care of Southwest Florida is a comprehensive, modern and well-established women’s health practice supported by a medical community that includes richly resourced hospitals and a comprehensive array of excellent subspecialists.
Voted best in Women’s Health in the 2024 Community’s Choice Awards, the group of physicians, midwives and physician assistants at Premier Women’s Care of Southwest Florida has a nearly 40-year history of providing expert, compassionate health care to women of all ages.
We are hiring for growth, as both our practice and our community are thriving and expanding.
Having outgrown our Cape Coral office space due to increased community demand for our services, in January of 2026 the practice is opening a brand new 40,797-square-foot medical office building in Cape Coral. The new facility will offer ample office space and the latest technology for gynecological and obstetrical care, as well as an expanded urogynecology practice and state-of-the-art in-office procedure rooms. The new building will also have a dedicated area for fetal monitoring, three ultrasound suites, 3D mammography, 37 exam rooms, three procedure rooms, phlebotomy, offices, consultation rooms and covered parking.
We have been continually expanding our well-established midwifery practice since 2023, and we have had a flourishing in-house urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery practice since 2022. The practice currently has 16 physicians, 9 certified nurse midwives and 3 physician assistants.
Career satisfaction is a hallmark of our practice. In over three decades our group has rarely had a physician leave our practice for a reason other than retirement. We offer a welcoming, supportive and collaborative environment that includes mentoring, excellent support staff, and opportunities for professional growth and steadily increasing compensation. The cost of living is low in Fort Myers, which is ranked one of Florida’s least expensive cities. Meanwhile, we offer compensation that is well above national averages, and Florida earnings are not subject to state income tax. We also offer flexibility to develop your ideal work-life balance, with full-time or part-time schedule options.
Both local hospitals offer 24-hour, dedicated ob-gyn in-house anesthesia and well-supported robotic surgery, and we have excellent relationships with local subspecialists in maternal fetal medicine, gynecology-oncology, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. The community also has a state-of-the-art, freestanding pediatric hospital with a Level III NICU.
Just minutes from the world-class beaches of Florida’s Southwest coast, including Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, our community offers natural beauty and many outdoor activities, as well as a lively downtown with excellent restaurants, fun nightlife, and a wide array of cultural and children’s activities. Opportunities for fishing, diving, paddleboarding, shelling, and hiking abound. The comfortable, mid-sized communities of Fort Myers and Cape Coral are only about two hours from Tampa and Miami, both popular destinations for visitors from around the world. Southwest Florida is also a paradise for boaters, with many local keys to explore and easy access to Key West.
