Heather Bahr, CNM

About Heather

Heather Bahr, CNM, became a certified nurse midwife after working as a labor and delivery nurse in the largest birthing center in Wisconsin. She has also been an emergency department nurse, and her experience includes assisting in high-risk births and working in a level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Heather’s emergency experience includes working in Level 1 trauma centers in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin, and serving as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician crew chief for the Waterloo Fire Department.

She has cared for patients in some of their most vulnerable moments and brings to her practice a wealth of compassion and expertise.

Outside of medicine, Heather loves to spend time being active and traveling with family. She and her husband recently relocated from Wisconsin with their son and fur babies. They always are looking for recommendations for new restaurants to try out. 

Heather is accepting new patients at our Park Royal office in Ft. Myers and welcomes them to the practice.
