About Sandy

With over 20 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife and prior experience working as a nurse in labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care, Sandy Lewis has outstanding bedside manner and an ability to connect with patients of various ages and circumstances. She is focused on a total-person healthcare approach encompassing physical, mental and spiritual aspects of healing.

Sandy provides care for women of all ages, including routine annual exams, acute gynecology visits, and reproductive healthcare and prenatal care, as well as office procedures including IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal.

Her experience includes working with culturally diverse, underserved populations, serving as first assistant for cesarean sections and gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic procedures, and providing care for high-risk obstetrical patients in close collaboration with obstetrician/gynecologists.

Sandy is a graduate of the University of Rochester, a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, and lifelong learner of latest healthcare innovations and approaches.
